Quaker City Nighthawks
This is a pretend gig poster I did for a Melbourne band. Liz from the band runs the Shellac poster shop in High St Northcote and was kind enough to put a handful of my flyers advertising my lame services in her shop.
This is sick! The colours are beautiful! The only thing I'm not sure about is the font.. it's really minor.. but I was just thinking that it might look better with hand-drawn writing aswell?

ReplyDeletewow i love it - like pete said its got a great palette. im willing to bet this would draw my eye no matter how many lesser posters surrounded it.
ReplyDeleteThanks dudes!
ReplyDeleteI agree about the font Pete, I am really happy with how it turned out but if I'd had time I would definitely prefer to have done it myself!
