The Kraken


The words are from Alfred Lord Tennyson's poem "The Kraken". The illustration is my own, inspired by the poem.
The project came about when Brisbane/Hobart artist Grointhief bought me James Jean's Rift and we drooled copiously over it one dreamy spring.
